A Butte County native, Melissa Atteberry has been practicing family law locally since 1995.

After graduating from Cal-Northern School of Law, she was admitted to the California State Bar Association.

The damage and harm she witnessed in the family law courts caused Melissa to pursue a more appropriate process for resolving these personal matters.

She subsequently received Basic and Advanced Mediation Training through Straus Institute of Pepperdine University, Interdisciplinary Collaborative Training through the Sacramento Collaborative Practice Group and Narrative Mediation Training.

She has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Sacramento Collaborative Practice Group and is a member of the IACP (International Academy of Collaborative Professionals).

Today, her practice is focused exclusively on Family Law.
